Assalam-o-Alaikum! I am Maulana Hassan Sherazi, founder and head teacher at Shia Quran Lessons. My journey in Islamic education began at a young age when I started memorizing the Quran. I completed my Hifz under qualified teachers and then pursued higher Islamic studies including:
- Sanad in Quranic Recitation (Qira'at): I received Ijazah in Hafs 'an Asim with complete Tajweed rules, Makharij, and Sifaat from renowned Qaris.
- Dars-e-Nizami: Completed traditional Dars-e-Nizami covering Tafseer, Fiqh (Jafari), Usool, Arabic literature, and Mantiq.
- Tafseer Specialization: Studied Tafseer-e-Quran under senior scholars with focus on Shia Tafseer traditions including Tafseer-e-Namoona, Tafseer-e-Safi, and Tafseer Al-Mizan.
- 10+ Years Online Teaching: For over a decade, I have been teaching Quran online to Shia families across USA, UK, Canada, and 12+ other countries. I have personally taught more than 500 students ranging from 4-year-old children to 60-year-old adults.
