❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from Tafseer course?
Translation focuses on word meanings and basic understanding. Tafseer goes deeper - it includes context, background, and detailed explanations. We recommend starting with Translation, then moving to Tafseer if you want deeper study.
Do I need to memorize Arabic words?
Yes, but we make it easy. We teach you patterns and roots, so you don't have to memorize blindly. You'll naturally remember words as you see them repeatedly in different verses.
How many words will I learn?
The Quran has about 2000 unique root words. We focus on the most common 500 words that cover 80% of the Quran. This is enough to understand most verses at a basic level.
Can I join if I'm a complete beginner?
Yes! The only requirement is that you can read Quranic Arabic. You don't need to know any meanings before starting. We'll teach you everything from scratch.
Will I be able to translate any verse after completing?
You'll be able to understand most common words and grasp the basic meaning of new verses. With a Quran dictionary, you'll be able to translate almost any verse on your own.
Do you offer certificates?
Yes, upon successful completion of the course, we provide a certificate signed by Maulana Hassan Sherazi recognizing your achievement in Quran translation.
